'It took 10 hours and a few stops. Then the desert, into the red. Nomads, Bedouin, Tuareg and Berbers populate a land of clay and kings on the move. Visible, the plateau, flat and linear natural border that beats back. In remote camps, the buzzing of electric pumps, wi-fi. Berber women sit alone, rinsing dishes in the tents. They laugh and wave at me to join. I record their voices, fixing the hijab on my parka. Are we all post-humans?' 'Ci sono volute 10 ore e qualche sosta. Poi il deserto, immersi nel rosso. 'Seismic landforms release sonic waves throughout the hills, heading south. Padan Plain is a geological unicum sedimenting over so called blind fault zones. They do not cut shallowness, they settle in the depth of the subsoil, active. According to the dictionary a volcano is a rupture in the crust of a planetary-mass object. It voices converging and diverging forces. Tremors over this chronicle, silence-pockets speckled with red. Years folding to mould and emerge. Dormant from the past past we increased the level of unrest. The fissure vent is open. It unleashes a million sounds.' 'Formazioni sismiche rilasciano onde sonore lungo i colli, verso sud. La Pianura Padana è un unicum geologico che sedimenta sopra cosiddette faglie cieche. Non tagliano in superficie, si appoggiano sulla profondità del sottosuolo, attive. Secondo il vocabolario un vulcano è la rottura nella crosta di un oggetto di massa planetaria. Dà voce a forze convergenti e divergenti. Scosse in questa cronistoria, sacche di silenzio macchiate di rosso. Anni che si arrotolano a plasmare ed emergere. Dormienti da un passato passato abbiamo innalzato il livello di irrequietezza. La spaccatura è aperta. Rilascia un milione di suoni.'

'Questa storia è storia di silenzi, di pause e assenze; la storia di noi. Non abbiamo schema o layout. Siamo una serie di processi chimici, non algoritmici. Senza cornice. Lui mi ha dispiegata, io ho fatto affondare le sue radici in noi. Abbiamo stratificato una nuova morfologia . All’inizio, il linguaggio era codice, binario. Interpretazione e notazione come fossimo di spalle. Eravamo fermi, nell’erba lunga, alle prese con la mancanza. Nelle profondità e nelle altezze, movimento e fissità, l’alterità della separazione. Il nostro discorso, le nostre proposizioni, l’esistere di per sé, in divenire. La natura prima di una dualità ancorata nel tempo. E poi la mancata univocità di ogni cosa, il non ancora, la modalità del nostro stare assieme. Come sfumare ai bordi, abbiamo sconfitto il soloqui. Nei gesti, nelle posture, il vuoto della distanza. Trasudava pena. Lui possedeva il suo gregge, ha imparato a essere buono con il bestiame. Qual è stata la mia parte? La mia presenza impertinente. Ero nella narrazione e la sua logica di dettaglio, progressione e sottrazione. Ero discorsiva. Entrambi abbiamo aggiunto il figurato. Non siete in errore se pensate a questa storia come ad un continuum attraverso il silenzio. La sua porosità ha legittimato il passaggio di sillabe, semibrevi e minime. Ci siamo soffermati presso un idioma illeggibile. Ci siamo passati davanti.'
7.	Untitled (w/Gianni Venturi) 03:56	lyrics	buy track
'This is a story, the story of silence, of pauses and absence; the story of us. We have no outline nor layout. We are a series of chemical, non–algorithmic processes. Unframed. He unfolded me, I rooted him in us. We stratified a new landform. At first, language was a code, binary. Interpretation and notation as though we had our backs turned. We stayed put, in long grass, grappling with want. In depths and heights, movement and stillness, the otherness of separation. Our discourse, our propositions, existing per se, in the making. The very nature of a duality anchored in time. And then the in- between-ness of all things, the non-yet, the modality of our together-ness. As trailing off to the edges, we defeated the onlywhere. In gestures, in postures, the void of distance. It exuded grief. He owned his own cattle, he learnt to be good to the livestock. What was my role? My impertinent presence. I was into narrative and its logic of details, progression and subtraction. I was discursive. We both added imagery. You’re not at fault by pondering this story as a continuum through silence. Its porousness legitimated the passage of syllables, semibreves and crotchet. We rested by an illegible idiom. We went past it.'
