This sonic documentary has been recorded and produced as a soundscape for my poetry book Beginnings & Other Tragedies/Inizi e Altre Tragedie, published by Valley Press Uk on 5th October 2023.

Field recording has been taken in Venice, the Euganean Hills and the Bacchiglione river by using Zoom H6 recorder and JRF D-series hydrophone.

A fond memory for Mr. Ernesto Ortis, historic Venetian shop owner who passed away in 2021, and whom I had the chance and honour of interviewing together with Venetian poet and friend Francesco Sassetto.
My deep gratitude to violinist Ida Di Vita (Quartetto Indaco) for an incredibly atmospheric recording taken 'at dawn somewhere on a beach' in 2022.
